We have successfully delivered thousands of hours of content for our clients as well as many instances of our Cloud Nine applications - our Learning Management System, Content Authoring System and Community Platform.
The learning objects we have developed for the Australian education sector probably represent some of our most adventurous work - now available for sale . As with all our content work, they have been engineered to conform with international specifications (such as SCORM and IEEE), seamlessly integrating with all major Learning Management Systems.
But perhaps our most loved product (certainly by the clients that are using it) is Nebula™, our web-based CloudNine Content Authoring System (CAS). We developed Nebula™ specifically to reduce the time it takes to create customisable and complex learning content - what the industry now refers to as highly engaging learning objects.
Initially we used and refined Nebula™ in-house - over some 5+ years. Releasing it to our clients seemed a sensible thing to do, creating an opportunity for subject experts and learning development executives to work within complex learning frameworks as a team, to tight deadlines, just like we do. And without needing to come back to us every time they need to create more content or edit existing materials. [Bliss!]
We also provide an Learning Management System (LMS) of our own - we call it CloudNine LMS. Based on Moodle, the world's leading Open Source LMS solution, it is used by some of the biggest companies and universities the globe over. Our approach includes hosting and flexible support plans, ensuring you only pay for what you use. But the biggest draw card and the one that delights our clients is.... you can assign any number of learners and deliver any number of courses, and the annual fee remains the same... and always very low.
Our CloudNine Community Platform, based on a coherent set of eLearning 2.0 technologies, is increasingly finding a home with clients who are quietly turning to the opportunities in informal (rather than only formal) learning. The premise here, is that learners learn from each other, in learning communities - and are better served by being given the communicative tools by which they can do this most effectively, driving their own learning and aspirational development. We understand these processes well, and importantly know how to help our clients realise the value in eLearning 2.0.
