IAG - Risk & Compliance Training (6 Modules)

The course uses a scenario based learning design. Learners are provided a series of real scenarios which they would encounter and then asked how they would respond to the situations. To assist the learning process there are scaffolded resources available which the learner can engage if they feel they need more information to answer a question correctly. Information is conveyed from different viewpoints - from managers with varying levels of knowledge and skill such as a 'novice' and an 'experienced manager’. The use of alternative perspectives motivates learners to review, assess and reach their own decisions. Using various authentic resources and these alternative perspectives, learners are required to respond to 4 typical risk situations at IAG.

6 Modules - Introduction, Privacy Act, General Insurance Code of Practice, Trade Practices Act, Insurance Contract Act, Financial Services Reform Act. This series of modules are part of the compliance suite for all new starters at IAG. Completed immediately on starting, the courses were positively received and valuable – rather than the typical negative response to compliance.
