IAG - Buddy Basics
In this module the objective is to learn the fundamentals of being a “buddy” at IAG. The course gave learners an understanding of the processes related to being a Manager and a Buddy. New staff are assigned a buddy. This module covers both roles, and the learner selects which is appropriate when they start. Then they must work through their virtual note book and scenarios, recording their progress and the required information. The one hour course covered the following learning outcomes: Recognise a suitable buddy based on the suggested selection criteria. Describe the observation techniques that will be used by a buddy. Apply the preferred feedback model when giving feedback to the new team member. Create and apply SMART development activities.
