LearnX Awards 2010 Announced and we won another one

22 Apr 2010

LearnX is one of Australia's largest learning conferences held every year. This year they have awarded Nine Lanterns and Commonwealth Bank another Platinum award, this time for the Ergonomics and Manual Handling module.

The course is a simulation where the learner assists someone to correctly position themselves in a number of situations to aleviate stress on their body. The content was split into two modules, one for ergonomics and one for manual handling each with a range of different scenarios such as sitting at a desk, with/withoyt a laptop, standing at a counter, lifting a heavy box etc.

The learner is provided with formative feedback, allowing them to understand the reasons why their decisions were correct or incorrect and access to resources at any time to help them make their choice.

To all the other category winners, congratulations. To Commonwealth Bank, thank you for engaging us on yet another fantastic project.
