Plan Nine

We have developed Plan9 specifically with eLearning in mind (although we have borrowed a lot from best practice software engineering principles).

Plan9 is a road map to project success. It represents a comprehensive set of tools and documentation, merging informed approaches to pedagogy, learner centred design and interactive design into a structured framework.

It goes something like this...

Inception

The Project Inception phase starts with the definition of business objectives. This gives way to agreement of scope and units of work, both focused on learning outcomes. Estimation of costs and work effort also happen in this phase, alongside a complete project plan describing how the tasks will be completed and by whom.

Definition

Output from this phase fully describes how the business and learning objectives are to be met, including the visual treatment. This is the point at which the client gets a really good feel for the how the solution will look and 'feel'.

Build

This is where the solution comes to life. Build is in fact, the outcome of the previous phases and represents the point at which visual treatment, functionality, interactivity and content are all brought together.

Deploy

This is a transitioning phase expressly for client acceptance and testing. We assist with skills transfer and put in place systems that enable ongoing support.

Measure

During Measure, we implement an analysis of the success criteria for the project. This includes key stakeholder interviews with the objective of improving and enhancing. This phase is key to continuous improvement.
