Leadership Team

Nine Lanterns is led by 3 Executive Directors and a 5 person Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Each plays a central role in growing the capabilities and of a young and vibrant company.

Steve Grocott

Steve Grocott has been developing interactive educational content for 13 years, as the Producer of numerous award-winning (including a UK BAFTA nomination) new media projects for Laser Disc, Interactive Television, CD-ROMs and the Web. He has produced and managed projects for the International Olympic Committee, The Department of Education & Training in Victoria, The Le@rning Federation, TAFE Frontiers, Bang & Olufsen, CPA Australia and Museum Victoria. Since January 2004, he has the honour of heading the peak industry body in eLearning, as President of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association in Victoria. He is also a founding member of the eLearning Association of Victoria.

Micheal Hall

Micheal has extensive experience in creating innovative solutions for business using technology. In recent years he has focused on the development of content management tools and processes for the elearning industry based on IMS and SCORM specifications. This has led to the development and integration of eLearning content and systems for The Learning Federation, the Adult Multicultural Education Service, CPA Australia and the Department of Education and Training in Victoria. He regularly consults on technical and commercial standards based eLearning.

Martyn Wild

Martyn is an internationally regarded educationalist and Learning Designer. He has taught and researched at universities in Australia and the UK, and is presently Adjunct Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University (WA). Martyn has established the Nine Lanterns Learning Architecture and Learning Models over the last three years. His insight into the principals of learning as they are applied to online environments has helped Nine Lanterns become a recognised leader in the industry.
