Scott Wallace to present at the eLearning Association's PechaKucha Night.

Nine Lantern's very own Scott Wallace will be presenting at the eLearning Association's PechaKucha Event on 26th June in Melbourne. 

The event is to be held at the Box Hill Information shop on DeGraves Street in Melbourne's CBD. Scott will be presenting on the subject of 'Interactive Storytelling' a subject in which Scott is extremely knowledgeable about after studying it through his Masters course and also implementing it into his eLearning Instructional Design methodologies. 

This is the second PechaKucha event to be held by the eLearning Association, they will be running three in total,

Nine Lanterns have recently been working with numerous organisations in the healthcare and wellbeing sectors; this has led us to realise that there hasn't been too much research done into how eLearning is used within these sectors - or in what way it is used.

The prestigious awards, which are in their seventh year, recognise the exceptional impact of organisational learning and performance within the Asia-Pacific Region.

Nine Lanterns won the Gold award for the a course built about the 'Installation of Flexible Ducts' for the Australian Duct Manufacturers Alliance (ADMA). The ADMA represent duct manufacturers and assemblers and are embarking on raising standards within the flexible ducts industry.

Nine Lanterns Accepted onto Victorian Government eServices Register

Nine Lanterns is delighted to announce its acceptance onto the eServices Register for the Victorian Government after meeting the eligibility criteria.

The register, held on the Ariba Global Network, provides a simplified process for Victorian ICT companies bidding for government work and allows the Victorian Government to make more informed purchasing decisions.

The eServices Register was set up by the Victorian Government in July 2013 and is mandated for use by government departments and agencies with membership and is open to all companies that meet the stringent qualifying standards.

Nine Lanterns Win eLearning System Excellence Award for Vodafone Learning Dashboard

The eLearning Industry Association of Victoria has awarded Nine Lanterns and partner Vodafone the eLearning System Excellence Award for the design and implementation of Vodafone's Learning Dashboard.  

Announced at the 2013 eLearning Gala Dinner, the judging panel praised the system solution for its: 

"...judicious use of simple visuals putting ‘boring’ out of business by replacing passive reports with a bang-on training progress dashboard.

Nine Lanterns and partner Ausgrid has won Gold in the 2013 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Learning Awards - Best Custom Content for Ausgrid Electrical Safety Rules

Now entering its 19th year, the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards Program is the most prestigious awards program in the industry.  Often called the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives, the program was one of the first of its kind in the learning industry, which was pioneered in 1995.
